  • Have we identified the constraints?
  • Have we developed new models to reduce or eliminate the impact of the constraints?
Facilities
  • Do our facilities align with an efficient work flow model?
  • Have we adapted our work flow model to inefficient facility design?
  • Do we continue to build new facilities that perpetuate an inefficient work flow model?
Tools
  • Do we have the right equipment, in the right location, at the right time so work flow is accelerated rather than impeded?
  • If we don’t, is this a function of work flow design or equipment shortage?

  • Have we optimized supplier discounts?
  • Are we managing inventories at lean levels?
  • Have we centralized purchasing authority?
